MOBILE UNIT
Bringing Treatment Closer to Home
Tadiso, Inc. is proud to have launched one of the first Mobile Medication Units in Western Pennsylvania, expanding access to life-saving treatment and recovery services for individuals who may otherwise face barriers to care. Through grant funding secured in 2024, Tadiso was able to purchase and outfit a specialized mobile treatment unit designed to bring high-quality services directly into the communities that need them most.
After receiving all required federal, state, and local approvals, the Mobile Medication Unit officially began operations in February 2025 and is currently stationed in Braddock, Pennsylvania. This innovative program was developed with a simple but powerful goal: to eliminate obstacles that prevent people from accessing treatment. For many individuals, transportation challenges, long commute times, multiple bus transfers, work schedules, family responsibilities, or other logistical barriers can make it difficult to consistently engage in care. By bringing services directly into the community, Tadiso is helping individuals access treatment closer to home while reducing the burden associated with traveling to a traditional clinic setting.
Patients receiving services through the Mobile Medication Unit have access to the same compassionate, evidence-based care that has been the foundation of Tadiso’s mission since 1968. Services include Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD), medication management, case coordination, referrals to counseling and recovery support services, and ongoing support from a team dedicated to helping individuals achieve long-term recovery.
The Mobile Medication Unit reflects Tadiso’s ongoing commitment to meeting people where they are and ensuring that quality treatment remains accessible, convenient, and patient-centered. By expanding services beyond the walls of our main facility, we are able to reach more individuals, strengthen community partnerships, and provide hope and support to those seeking recovery.
If you are interested in receiving services through our Mobile Medication Unit, please contact our Intake Department for more information. Individuals are also welcome to visit our main facility to discuss eligibility, complete registration, and begin the admission process.
Mobile Medication Unit Location:
6th Avenue & Woodlawn Avenue, Braddock, PA
Hours of Operation:
