Our Treatment Services
Medication
Tadiso, Inc. provides patients with methadone medication daily. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our stations are only open Monday-Friday from 5:30 (workers only) 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m and Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Once a patient has become stable in abstinence and recovery, the frequency of visits to the clinic can be reduced with take-home medication bottles.
Our Suboxone-buprenorphine patients will be evaluated and treated during office visits and receive a prescription for Suboxone, which they may fill at any pharmacy. Please contact us to schedule an appointment.

Counseling
Counseling is an essential element of any treatment for substance use disorders. At Tadiso, Inc., we have a staff of 25 Master’s-level counselors providing group and individual therapy for patients. Our counseling services are available Monday-Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
During the one-on-one counseling sessions, our counselors will work with patients to develop an individualized treatment plan to address their situation. Our counselors use various approaches such as reality therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, Gestalt therapy, person-centered therapy, and existential therapy, depending on what may best work with the individual.
Tadiso, Inc. also offers group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches and interventions. We focus on issues such as cocaine abuse, benzodiazepine abuse, abstinence skills, relapse prevention, developing sober support systems, safe recreational activities, and recovery support services. In addition, experiential group sessions, such as art therapy, exercise therapy, and relaxation therapy, are also offered.

Pregnancy Checkup
Women’s Health
Tadiso, Inc. helps specialized groups for women by addressing women's health issues, pregnancy, and methadone use, as well as providing postpartum support for women on methadone. We also offer a parenting group for first-time mothers in treatment. These group sessions often include speakers from Magee-Women’s Hospital and other agencies.
Pregnant Incarcerated Women
Tadiso, Inc. has coordinated with the Allegheny County Jail to provide medication-assisted treatment to incarcerated pregnant women with an opioid use disorder. With the help of officials at the jail, we will give these women methadone treatment every week.
Childcare
Tadiso, Inc. offers childcare services for children in our Toddler’s Room and Drop-Off Center. With the help of this service, parents can receive treatment without interruptions from their children. Our child care facility is handled by a highly-skilled and trained childcare worker who provides play activities and skill-building exercises in a safe environment. Please note that parents must register their children and provide written consent to allow them to participate in our activities.
Our childcare services are available Monday-Friday from 6:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., excluding holidays.
Family Therapy
